Real Batpod
Real Batpod? When I say it is real, I mean that Batpod is the one they used in the movies: The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Six models were constructed for the film’s production to anticipate some of them crashing. So this is one of them. It was in HK for promoting the new film. I was lucky enough to see it very close and took some pics.
Batpod is designed by Nathan Crowley who also created the Batmobile for Warners Bros’ earlier ‘Batman Begins’ movie. The Batpod has 20″ front and rear tires (Tumbler’s front wheels), and the engines are located in the hubs of the wheels.
