About Cologne
Cologne is the largest city in the German federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth-largest city in Germany. It is located on both sides of the Rhine River, less than eighty kilometres from Belgium. Cologne is subdivided into 9 boroughs and 85 districts. During World War II, Cologne was a Military Area Command Headquarters for the Military District VI of Münster.
